The 400th Proton-M rocket successfully launched from Baikonur tonight, December 15th 2014 at 00:16 UTC carrying the Yamal 401 satellite for Russian Gazprom Space Systems. Yamal 401 has 36 Ku-band and 17 C-band transponders and will be positioned at 90 degrees East to provide coverage to Russia.
